Tissot watches started ticking sweetly in Le Locle, Switzerland; in 1853 with the release of an historic single-movement pocket watch, which incorporated time zones. Tissot also created stunning pocket watches inlaid with fashionable enamel and gemstones. Then in 1930, Tissot released their first non-magnetic wristwatch, a concept on which they have continued to build in order to create the eye catching automatic wristwatches of today.
Masters in movement as well as aesthetics, Tissot watches encapsulate the best of Swiss watchmaking. This Swiss-made Tissot Telemeter 1938, comes with a beautiful, vintage-inspired heritage rotor design and is also equipped with a telemeter function and a tachymetre scale, along with a chronograph Valjoux A05.231 movement.
